bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Olivo gets suspended for 5 games but appeals so it doesn't take effect until next year.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Looks to be an electric atmosphere at the game today, Gary says it's playoff like plus.Lets go Mets, I'd like nothing more than several more IGT's with you lot.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Author Posted September 30, 2007 Likewise, brudda.I've got radio only. Howie just said the Mets put a picture of the skirmish from yesterday on the wall with and wrote "Don't wake the sleeping Mutts. Someone must pay" underneath it.I feel like there's going to be a rumble after school today behind the football field.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Keith said he doesn't really miss the game, but this is a game he'd like to play in.Let's Go Mets!!!

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 These have not been bad pitches.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I guess we get to see who the REAL Met fans are folks.Hey, we knew we had to score some runs today.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Gotta pull Glavine now, Keith keeps talking about good pitches, I'm not buying that.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Author Posted September 30, 2007 Glavine's pitching his way out of a Met uni.Strikes and outs.NOW!!!
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Author Posted September 30, 2007 Have to go vomit.BRB.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 It's like a goddamn nightmare.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Anyone who isn't watching.Leading off the game, Ramirez was hit by a pitch, but the home plate ump did not see it.Now that ball had to hit something, because it never got to Castro, so everyone in the world figured it hit the knob of the bat and was a strike. So when Ramirez walked, we all had him at ball 3.But home plate ump Joe West had him at ball four, because he must have called that pitch a ball. And even though the Mets were not clear on what happened there at the time, Willie did not even step out to question it.And thats all for Glavine, who I don't think was pitching as horrible as this inning indicates, and his day is wasted.Damn.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I figured Glavine would give us at least 1 inning. Bu-bye, Glavine. Good luck in Atlanta next year.
