Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Meet the new site, almost the same as the old site. Great work guys. This feels like home already.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I love it,have never been happier about moving ,has that ezboard feel to it...
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 It moves with lightning quick speed. All bow before Yancy and KC!!!
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 Bow facing what direction exactly??All this place needs is good old #52 for that old school feel.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Great work! It does remind me of the old place. Very nice.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 When I try to post the first time each time I come to the new site it redirects me to the main choose-your-forum page and only after I re-enter that forum and that thread will it let me post.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 My only complain is that the display is wider than my screen requiring me to scroll to the right in order to read everything.Am I the only one? Can it be fixed?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Does the banner scroll off the right side of your screen? Or does the combination of the phpBB graphic and the banner fit okay, but only the posts scroll off?I'm not having the problem, but I have my screen set to be 1,024 pixels wide.
Guest admin Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 That's kinda weird, is your screen resolution set to 1024 x 768? If it's lessthat's the only reason I can think of why that might happen.KC
Guest admin Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Just a side note, cranepoolforum.net now points to this board. Please change your bookmarks to cranepoolforum.net and not the http://cranepoolforum.qwknetllc.com/phpbb2/index.php one as I'm not sure how long that one is going to be working.KC

Can it be fixed?I've had that problem with only one post so far...and that was Iubitul's post about the billboard. I was thinking that was due to the picture he posted. I'm curious to see if I have the same problem using my laptop from home tonight.Nice job, everyone...much appreciated.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Can I ask a dumb question, thanks. Is there a place in my profile to have only twenty posts per page, seems that the pages are not going from one to two.Disregard this question.....
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 ]Does the banner scroll off the right side of your screen? Or does the combination of the phpBB graphic and the banner fit okay, but only the posts scroll off? Both the main page and every post falls off the right side.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Don't scroll. I'm hiding something there.Try this. > Go to your start menu.> Select Control Panel.> Choose the Display icon.> Select the Settings tab.> Dial up your screen resolution a click.> Repeat as necessary.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I LOVE the painting of Shea and the Unisphere in the new masthead. Wouldn't it be sweet if they really were so close together? I always thought it was a shame that you couldn't see it from the seats.Heck, when you think about it, the way Shea is facing affords the worst of views. North would show you the bridges, west the Manhattan skyline and south the park and Unisphere. East, and we have chop shops.I understand why is faces that way, just lamenting.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I love that the threads with new posts i havwn't read keep that "sticky-note" icon next to them even when i click on other threads and then go back to the forum. the old board didn't do that.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 metirish, I changed it so that it's again twenty posts per page.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Great fixing. Rick Peterson couldn't have done it better or faster.
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I have to join in with Metsguyinmichigan - I LOVE the masthead - it looks fantastic.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Anyone get an error message if you log out? When I log out I get a:phpBB : Critical ErrorError obtaining user detailsDEBUG MODESELECT * FROM phpbb_users WHERE user_id = -1Line : 457File : sessions.php
