So I fly outta LaGuardia on Friday. My plane is delayed so I'm in the terminal for a while. I come back on Sunday, to the same gate except that now there are DELTA AIRLINES - OFFICIAL AIRLINE OF THE NEW YORK METS signs all over the place, even on the little strip right below the baggage carousel. I imagine they've been the oficial airline for a while but they didn't make noise about it til the playoffs.

Airlines have been frequent sponsors of sports arenas during this naming-rights era.
I wonder if this partnership is a potential sign of things to come for a certain stadium coming soon next door to an airport near you? Delta already has the basketball arena in SLC, Utah I believe.

I've had some good meals on British Airways. In fact, when you go to England, there's a good chance that the airplane food will be the best thing you taste during your entire trip.
