Id settle for a clinching game.
It wouldnt suck if the Mets clinched by default on an offday, but it wouldnt be as satisfying as seein them do it.

Fun game, but I'd personally like to know where Jerry Manuel was, when he very badly needed to smack Willie upside the head and remind him that Tucker, Green and Endy Chavez -- who was brought into the game regardless! -- should be used as pinch hitters before Ricky Ledee.

I would've also pinch-hit for Ledee the second time (with Tucker).

Also, what the hell was Heath Bell doing warming up? Would he have seriously come into the game if we hadn't taken the lead? Umm, Pedro Feliciano anyone?

Endy Chavez was brought into the game regardless, but, had he pinch hit, it would have left the pitchers spot in the six hole (rather than the eighth slot), likely depriving Willy of getting a potential second innng out of Heilman.
