Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Interesting story from Cotter today.El Duque is proud of using English, refuses to use a translator in interviews. When he gets stuck (usually a few questions into his post-start interviews) Franco or Delgado will yell the translation from across the room.I'm interested in that kind of clubhouse stuff. How cool would it be to just hang out in there?

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The Duke pitched a great game tonight...the offense owes him a couple runs.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Sounds urban to me....I don't know why Reds would be less-associatable with Communism then Redlegs.I like making up words.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Ball went under Freel's glove as he was cutting across, but Lopez was there. 6-3.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 What has Bronson Arroyo been drinking and where can I get some. He's unstoppable.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Feliciano's slider didn't slide, and the batter didn't move. Loads the bases for the Reds.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 If Delgado was ever going to bunt against the shift, that would've been the spot.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Wright singles and the tying run will bat.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The pitch right before Beltran's pitch was fouled off of the scoreboard out there in foul territory in right.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 And it worked out to be a good thing Delgado didn't bunt for a hit. If he had gotten on Wright's three hop single would've gone 6-4-3.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 1 pitch out for Valentin, Nady will bat...
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Grounder down the left field line right into the teeth of the no-doubles defense. Force out.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Wright shoulda came up with that bouncer. LoDuca should notta made so many outs. If he'd mix in a double every now and again it'd really help.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The Red Sox are looking like shlubs on that trade.
