Not much to complain about tonight but Reyes leaving guys on 3rd with 1 out twice -- yuk.

swingin over the top of junk too.

I think they should score as many as they possibly can.
If the Phils somehow mount a comeback do you think they are gonna say, "hey, wait!-you got 9 runs,...we concede."

They hit us cuzza that all hells gonna break loose.

i dont think you tag up unless the ball is hit deeply enough that you can walk home, you also dont steal bases, its just the right way to play the game, and if i were the phillies i'd peg someone tonight.

disrespecting your opponent is bullshit. its the same as throwing the ball up multiple scores in the closing minutes of an NFL game or trying to get quick shots off up 25 in the closing minutes of a basketball game.

LMAO----
Phils announcer says ( of Julio)
" This is the guy they got for Chris and Anna Benson."

Bullshit-theres no time clock in baseball.

To heck with the right way to play the game. The most a team owes you in the late innings of a blowout is to pull a few of their stars. You can't ask players --- particularly those struggling to retain or improve their roles --- not to play.

]Bullshit-theres no time clock in baseball.

and you can technically score a TD, recover the onside kick and score again and then do it again in football, that doesnt mean a team up 21 is throwing with 3 minutes left

ny: >>>its just the right way to play the game<<<

If I was the guy you dicked out of an rbi, I wouldn't feel that way.

We're union brothers, pad my stats for my next contract baby!

(I just disagree)

Great, now we are talking about how the Mets should play a blow out game, cool, let's have that every IGT.

Throwing bombs for TDs late in a game where there's a finite amount of time to score is not the same thing as simply deciding not to play. "Running out the clock" helps the winning team to win since it, well ... runs out the clock. Choosing not to tag doesn't bring about the end of the game any sooner.

There's nothing for Philly to be upset about tonight except for their own inept play.

Tonight we had a chance for the ultimate triple happiness:
Mets beat the Phils.
Atlanta loses (down 11-1),
and BOSTON beats the Skanks (up 7-3).
(still an outside chance)

I have Reitsma on my CPF fantasy team and his ERA for the night was 54.00.
eyeeeeeeeeeeecurumba.

I did mean Skanks up 7-3---switched to that after the Philadelphia massacre.
The chance I was hoping for was a Boston comeback.

Didnt happen :(
