Guest SI Metman Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Well, one thing is for sure, there won't be TH for 3 days next week when the Yanks play the Braves. Also, I hope for no TH the next 3 days when the Yanks play the Phillies.

As long as the Mets are winning their games too, of course.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I'll go with what SI Metman said.
Guest old original jb Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Will there ever be a point at which Atlanta losing is no longer a part of triple happiness? Do we keep them in there permanently? What do we do this year when Atlanta plays Philadelphia?
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I'd vote for this: Next year we pick whoever finished highest in the standings, and make them the third team.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 These days, I'm triply happy when the Mets and Red Sox win and the Yankees lose.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Flag on the play: Too much caring about the Yankees.Come on, we're the Mets. What do we care about a second-rate organization that happens to habitate the same city?
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The Yankees have been in the postseason for 11 consecutive seasons. It's very important to see that come to an end. October will be so much more fun if the Mets are in the playoffs and the Yankees are not.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I dont know where I should put this and I dont want to start a whole new thread for it, but did anyone see the catch today in center by Gary Matthews Jr.?

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Seems only fitting since it's=blue] the 4th of July.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Seems strange to have two triple happinesses with the Mets losing so much lately, but hey, happiness is happiness.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Actually, I screwed up and my mistake is tempting the TH Gods;I didn't realize that the Braves' game was delayed by rain and isn't yet final!!! As a result, they are still playing so TH #10 is not yet official. It's currently 6-2 Cards in the 8th.
