I'm beginning to think there's very little difference between LoDuca and Castro, which I suppose is a good thing made better when our catcher isn't batting second.

I'm really getting tired of seeing Endy Chavez in the starting lineup.

Brewers on their way to sweeping the Braves 5-2 in the 7th and Washington getting shutout by those red hot Reds 5-0 in the 8th.

Would be a great day for another win.

]Wow, that's like Oprah weird.

I've been thinking it for two weks and many a post. Somebody finally mentions it and somebody else does at the exact same time. Wow.

Extra goofy in that (a) Metman hasn't sported Franco for a while, I think, and, (B) Yancy first showed up in part to upbraid Metman for referencing the portrait featured in that avatar at UMDB.

Keith's not a Bannister fan. He loves Castro.

Very nice running catch by Matsui in foul territory to end the inning.

I find Bannister hard to watch in the way that people sometimes found John Franco hard to watch, except that with Bannister, you have to watch for more than half the game.

Cliff robbed of a double, maybe a homer by Randy Winn.

The Metman protrait fiasco b egan with SIM borrowing UMDB's Franco portrait, but the smiling Johnny was offered by me to him to smooth relations (I scanned it & published it without permission from a baseball card).
