Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 The way that Nady catches the ball makes me nervous - I wish he would use both hands to make sure he has control of the ball.
Guest mlbaseballtalk Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 It started when Piazza hit his homer and was being congratulated in the dugout, Keith went "What is that girl doing in the dugout" before knowing that she wasn't really supposed to be there, I think thats how it started seeming like Keith was being sexist. If Keith was told "Thats the Padres trainer" or something he would have backed down

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Kaz pops out to third. I think the scouting report on Matsui's gotta be "get ahead in the count early with breaking balls, and then just keep throwing more breaking pitches anyway". He's scalded a few balls so far, but they seem to have been on fastballs when he's gotten ahead and taken the pitcher to a 3-ball count.

Hes gotta either lay off that pitch or go with it.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Floyd flies out to end the threat.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 i thought he hit that one a mile, but a mile just isn't far enough on this field.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Dammit, Victor. Throw a fucking strike.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Bases loaded for Giles = not good times. Bad times.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 FuckShit! A Grand Slam for Giles
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Jeezus. 2 out and nobody on and now this.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 You could see that one coming a long way off. Dammit Victor.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Victor Zambrano is a fuckin train wreck.he gives up single to the pitcher, a walk to roberts because he's afraid to challenge a singles-hitter, he falls behind on giles with the bases loaded and BANG, 5-0 Padres.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 How did we not know that was coming? Both Gileses (Brian and Marcus) torment the Mets.Later
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 They could trade Victor Zambrano for Ty Wigginton's jockstrap right now and it'd be a good trade.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 This stinks, we could have taken 3/4 this weekend and all 4 if we didn't start Zambrano and could score a run.
Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a tricycle.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Wright's gotta get at least a run home with a runner at 3rd and 1 out. Striking out = not acceptable.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Wright with a nice infield single, lets get a few moire...
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Nice spot for Floyd to start breaking out of the slump right here.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 its 5-2 on a dunked in single by Floyd and Delgado then stopped at 3B and then ran home on bad fielding.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 A hit by Nady would be huge here with Woodie and Chavez due next. The big guns have to come through.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Now it's up to Woodie as Nady pops up in foul territory.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I hope Beltran is well enough to play in the field. REALLY need a pinch hitter here.Edit: Chavez making me eat my words.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Woodie walks and now it's up to Endy "Hey what's this bat for anyway?" Chavez to try to drive in the runners. Damn.
