The Mets have landed coveted closer Billy Wagner in a four-year deal worth $43 million.

The deal includes a fifth-year option for the Mets worth $10 million, but if they decline, Wagner gets a $3 million buyout which is considered part of the original $43 million deal.

FAN (Eddie Coleman) reporting that Billy W. is coming to NYC to "finalize details". Stresses that he's not signed yet but expects that he will be so by this time tomorrow. Says it's for 4 years but no specifics beyond that.

This translates in my brain to 4 years for 40 million, with a fifth year option for 10 million that must be bought out for 3 million if declined. That right?
