Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Only their second intradivisional series (both have been against Washington) so far in this weird, weird schedule of a season. It may be the weirdest. And hopefully that means far less travel as the weather gets hot, but for all I know, Philly and Atlanta and Miami and Washington have had three west coast trips already too.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Note the early starting time kids, you don't want to tune in at 7:10 only to discover it's already the bottom of the 2nd and you missed that seven run NYM outburst. Should be about 91 degrees 'round first pitch time and maybe a couple of ticks above that on Tuesday. We didn't see Nats starter Jake Irwin (or Steve or Bindi) in the earlier series. He's having a rough statistical season to date [1-4, 5.91, 1.45 in nine starts] but so were those Nats hurlers who skunked us back in the CitiField series at the end of April when we lost the last two games of that series 14-2 and 5-4
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Big week with Washington and Miami. Last week's 5-1 was nice, this week's 6-1 is *necessary.*

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Kinda wish today was an off day so we could savor yesterday’s win some more. Anyway. Onward.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago well, I'm blocked on MLB app. They did offer to let me pay an additional fee to "upgrade my subscription" to receive the Washington Nationals TV package. I didn't even look to see what the fee would be, as I am not interested in paying more to MLB. I can listen to the Nationals radio broadcast for free . Um, pass.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Benge gets on to leadoff Bichette does nothing helpful
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Soto with a surprise bunt that he easily beats out, Vientos does nothing, Katy at bat
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Somehow, I'm always surprised when I find myself blacked out of Nats games.
