Well, Soto is good, but your point is not lost.

If you don't want to go lefty on lefty you can bunt with Melendez.

Or you can let him hit and hope he can at least make an out to his pull side.

But my greater complaint was the pulling his pitchers pre-emptively.

Well, I wanted an owner that brought in the right people and let them run things, I was certainly happy with Stearns ,Mets even waited for him, Cohen gave him the freedom and the $$ , trust the process I guess, but he must have questions for Stearns

I don't think this is snakebite.  Bad choices and bad execution got them here.  Not bad luck.

Said it before that Mendoza makes mistakes but all managers do. This team is the problem. How many losses can we put on managing? No Cohen/Stearns are responsible. Unfortunately Boy Genius will survive and the sacrifice will be Mendoza.
