Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2025 Author Posted February 14, 2025 He definitely seems to be a malcontent wherever he goes.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Daniel Vogelblob has retired and is now a coach for the Pirates. If he doesn't lose some weight, his heart is going to retire him from life sooner rather than later.

His next scheduled start is this coming Saturday.Ex-Met Michael Conforto of the still undefeated 7-0 Dodgers leads the majors in doubles with four.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Montero traded to the Braves Rafael Montero is on the move to Atlanta. The right-handed reliever and cash considerations were shipped to the Braves for the Astros in exchange for a player to be named later, whipping away a bloated contract from Houston’s payroll. Before the trade, Montero had pitched four innings with a 4.50 ERA and five strikeouts in 2025. Montero, 34, is in the final year of a three-year, $34.5 million contract that he signed with Houston during the 2022 offseason. The hurler, who has been with Houston for five years, has put up a 4.92 ERA across 109 ⅔ innings since the deal was signed.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 He doesn't appear to be pitching that badly [3.43 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 10 G/8 Starts] but Taijuan Walker is being moved to the Philly pen - even though it was former Marlin Jesus Lazardo who gave up 12 ER on 12 Hits/3 BB in 3-1/3 IP on Saturday to the Brewers.
