Peralta is 1 - 2 w/a 5.60 ERA / 1.14 WHIP / 20 K vs 6 BB over 27.1 innings in five starts since being dealt to Tampa Bay, although is coming off his best outing there: a 6 inning  / no run / 2 hit stint vs Detroit.

So start a new one.

Are you instigating a rebellion? Why not? Tradition is going out the window.

Dueling IGTs. All we need is banjo music.

Apparently, Ewing has been kicked to the back of the lineup against righthanders also.

Somehow, though, Alvarez moves up.  And please give a welcome back to the happy world of MLB lineups to Nick Morabito.

No time for Peralta to rediscover his 2025ishness.  And it's not time for the Mets to let him.

I'm guessing Alvarez moved up because Green needed to break up that string of lefty batters. I'm surprised that Ewing wasn't moved to left and Morabito put in center. While they're both fast, Nick has a tad more speed.

Maybe he'll get an actual hit this time around.

I blame his problems during the earlier stint on not being allowed to wear #8

If Cristian Pache has a hit in him as a Met, so must Nick Morabito.

But for now, a relatively harmless hit-by-pitch works, too.

Morabito is HBP'ing .154 (2 HBPs in 13 PAs) so that partially offsets the fact that he's hitting .000

So does the offense. Three of the first four Mets in the game got hits ... and not a single hit since.

This kind of thing hasn't happened since way back on ... Sunday. That was when Lindor and Soto started the game with b-2-b HRs followed by a Bichette single. Over their next 32 batters they managed one run on two hits.

Still no more hits ... but bases loaded one out thx to a trio of BBs

Gotta PH Vientos for Morabito here.

And they do ... of course that increases the odds of a GiDP

Dylan Winton Ross: 6' 5" / 215. 13th round draft pick in 2022 out of U of Georgia (how 'bout them dawgs!)

26 y/o Today!!!! from Statesboro, Georgia (hope he doesn't give us the blues).

If solo HRs and bases loaded walks don't sum up our offense not sure what else do.

And the last three of the last four NYM outs have been infield pop-outs - twice with bases loaded.
