Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 I was getting ready to type that McNeil wasn't going to bunt he was going to line the first pitch into RFI was too slow.Happy birthday Bucket!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Let's hear it for the Nats, and for modern baseball. They have their unambiguously best pitcher on the mound, they're beating the Mets 4-2 on the road, and they pull the guy after six innings/89 pitches. Thanks for that!
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 I totally blew it and it's late, but, 'Put it in the Bucket!

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 And how about Justin Garza?!Makes his Mets debut with two on and one out in the eighth, and strikes out the two batters he faces on eight pitches!Pretty nice start for a cash acquisition.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Outside of Castillo, who struggled, the rest of the bullpen was perfect.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 I had this weird feeling last night that no matter what the score was, they were going to win. Had it when they were down 3-0 and 4-2 late.I encounter this feeling very rarely with the Mets. I like it and want it to continue.
