Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Three LHBs in the lineup [soto, Nimmo, McNeil] vs Kershaw, who is now 37 (I was thinking, 'That's All!' but he's been in MLB since he was 20 so it only seems like he's 52) and hasn't been that good since his return. Three starts this year (and only ten since the close of the '23 season): 11 innings total, 6 ER, 11 Hits, 6 K, 6 BB, 1 HROne of those games came at the recent series in CitiField where he pitched two scoreless innings before the rains came.Betts back in the lineup for LAD
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Northwell Health's slogan is now "RAISE HEALTH"?That's terrible.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Hopefully this is not the night Kershaw gets his act together It seems the Dodgers don't want him to get much past 70 pitches and he has had trouble getting to half of that
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Alonso's body reminds me of Eric Cartman
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 I don't see Kershaw going very far here
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Cartman puts the Mets on top. That's what happens when you are late to your seats, Mary Hart and Burt Sugarman!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Tylor Megill coming up. Capable of seven scoreless or giving up 6 in the bottom of the first. Both equally as likely.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 The two roster moves the Mets made today might well have been three had Álvarez not collected those two hits yesterday. Instead, there he is back in the lineup and up a notch in the batting order.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 I disagree with the booth. I am scoring that as an error for McNeil as well.

We can get those runs back and get back into this game!" — Keith to his pitcher, when the team fell behind early in 1983 "Get some position players loose in the pen! I'm not going to waste any real pitchers trying to get back into this game!" — Most latter-day managers

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Biggish trip to the plate here for Juanito.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Feels like Marte should have scored on that double.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Wow! Nimmo did not look like he won that race, but he totally did.
