Nevertheless, Griffin Canning will attempt to keep the Queens fires burning at 7:10 PM on SNY. Chris Bassitt, who used to work in these parts, wings it for the Jays.

Sweet win and I appreciated how many stuck out a long cold dreary night for the exciting finish.



I also like that since the Jays got rid of Cavan Biggio, they brought up Will Wagner, and effectively maintained their critical quota of second-generation players, even replacing the song of a Hall-of-Famer with the son of a Hall-of-Famer.

Second game this week we did everything possible to lose and wound up somehow winning anyway.

Missed most of this one due to a gig. Caught the 8th inning tie up on the way home and was able to watch the 9th, at least. Nice win and clutch work by Lindor to drive that ball deep enough to plate the winner.
