Watching this debacle. Tied 3-3 going into the bottom of the 9th. Cardinals can't catch the ball. Soto has 2 RBI including a home run. Senga didn't look good. Jose Siri is an idiot.

Ends in a tie.

The last two outs were K's by my kid Trey McLaughlin.

I guess that goes as a GF.

Okay, let's reconstruct this.

KC makes a punning reference to Stockard Channing.

Frayed Knot replies that Carol Channing could have been referenced instead.

MFS62 says, or maybe he could have mentioned Stockard Channing.

Edgy says, he did mention Stockard Channing.

MFS62: No! I was referring to Stockard Channing, who was in Grease! Stockard Channing and Carol Channing aren't the same person.

That's the kind of exchange that traditionally drew replies of: RMPL

With dozens of republications of that Big Al essay, it is amazing to think any Crane Pooler would need to be told who Stockard Channing is.

Mets prospectos with a 3-0 lead on the Nats prospectos.

2024 Draftee Boston Baro with two hits including a homerun.

Nick Morabito, cf (2 for 3, SB, 2 RBI)

Carson Benge, rf (1 for 2, BB, 2B)

Jett Williams, ss (0 for 2, BB, SB, RS)

Ryan Clifford, 1b (1 for 3, HR, RS, 2 RBI)

Jacob Reimer, dh (0 for 3, 2 SO, shame

Eli Serrano III, lf (0 for 3, SO, less shame)

Kevin Parada, c (2 for 3, RS)

Boston Baro, 3b (2 for 2, 2 RS, RBI)

Jeremy Rodriguez, 2b, (0 for 1)

Now at 5-0. Mets pitchers are mocking Nats hitters by lobbing balls underhand.

Not 4 nothing but the Mets look like shit.

Also this web site performance is awful.

Listened to this one in the car while driving Fboy back to Oneonta for the end of spring break. They didn't play very well and XM only had the Astros radio crew, who sucked almost as much as the Mets players did

The final score of the prospect game was Junior Mets 5, Wannabe Nats 1. Game was stopped after seven and a half innings.

Shortstop Seaver King led off and got two hits for the Mets. I usually ain't about trades, but I propose the Mets send Boston Baro to the Red Sox and get Seaver King from the Nats. Boston can complete the three-way trade by sending the Nats a prospect named Washington, or DC or James Madison or something.

I had read that Jose Butto had soreness in his Achilles tendon, but it looks like he's ok.

He pitched a scoreless inning today.

The Mets split on the day, losing 2-0 to Tampa Bay and winning 6-5 over the fish.

My kid, Trey McLaughlin got the save in the win.

I haven't read anything recently about how the electronic ball-strike experiment has been going.

Should we interpret that to mean it has gone well?

No news = good news?

If there were problems, we might have heard about them.

I really hope Daniel Murphy doesn't become a staple

somewhere down the road. Go work for the Gnats.

Yeah, I imagine its going to go right down to the wire whether or not he carries that beard into the regular season.

Speaking of wire decisions, how about the day Canario has had?

NYM/NYY Spring Training games aren't the same without George declaring it a "Critical" game for the Yanx to win, and then blowing his stack if they didn't.

And Brandon Nimmo's 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th allows everyone to leave unhappy with a 6-6 tie.
