It's a pretty extreme situation, but it's sure weird to pull a guy after 4 1/3 innings while he's throwing a shutout with eight whiffs.

Nimmo and p Alonzo have overall been a disappointment with runners in scoring position. Add JD to that as well. Having said that I didn't expect us to be where we are. Go Mets!!

2/10 w/RiSP and those two were both infield singles (and slightly tainted ones at that) which obviously didn't score runs. And how many of the other eight ABs were K's ... 5?, 6?, 7?

Basically nothing resembling solid contact with ducks out there.





Worst AB of them all was Iglesies in the 1st. A contact guy with great numbers off Suarez takes a 3-pitch K, all swinging, on pitches not close, more not close, and even-more not close.
