[Frayed Knot]

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit guzzling grain alcohol.

[kcmets]

Feels like a seventh inning rally is on the horizon.

[Edgy MD]

I feel like these early holes have taught the Mets offense the resolve to make comebacks.

Now they need the pitchers to do their part.

[Edgy MD]

Whatever happens, Pete ... run like the wind.

[nymr83]

Walks can kill. please kill them here!

[Edgy MD]

It's the seventh. One or two runs here is OK by me.

Stay within yourself, Pete.

[Johnny Lunchbucket]

Wow

[Edgy MD]

[bIGPURPLE]OR FOUR!!!![/bIGPURPLE]

[nymr83]

FUCKYEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[A Boy Named Seo]

[Fman99]

That's what I'm sayin !

[Methead]

HELLLLOOOOOO

[Edgy MD]

What's the team record for homers in consecutive games?

[metirish]

Big Pete

[kcmets]

I'm so happy I could pee!!

[Frayed Knot]

Gary seemed rather sedate early in that call like he didn't think it had the distance.

I had no such calmness.

[Frayed Knot]

This is looking like it's headed for being a (I love saying this) Rare three hour game.

[ashie62]

What a sweet win this would be

The Wednesday night game was the first one all year where I wasn't sure if I would be able to stay up for the whole thing. Thank goodness I did !

[Marshmallowmilkshake]

Whoa! They were down 4-0 when I stopped watching to get some work done - and what a happy surprise!

And nice play, Squirrel!

[Frayed Knot]

Disappointing 1-2-3 from the 9-1-2 batters in the 8th

But, assuming Robertson can hold 'em, there's lots to like about Squirrel & Pete leading off the 9th.

Sudden thought: might this come down to a PH appearance by one G. Sanchez?

[nymr83]

DEEEEEEEEEEEEEFENSE!

[Johnny Lunchbucket]

Good vibes going into the bottom of the 9th

[kcmets]

My Gloomy Gus spirit just sat on my shoulder and said to me this is

gonna end later with a ghost-runner loss.

I tried to smack him, but he's so quick and disappeared.

[Frayed Knot]

A 9-pitch inning from Robertson (helped by some leather) might make him available for the if-necessary 10th

[Edgy MD]

Some Nimmo redemption would be nice.

DEEEEEEEEEEEEEFENSE!

[Edgy MD]

Nope, we need to win before his turn comes around.

[Johnny Lunchbucket]

Dumbass extra innings
