We went to a Pirates game a few years back in which he played right in front of us.



There was a little boy near us with a big, big Jolly Roger flag that he somehow managed to wave every time Marte even looked in his direction.

His mom and his mom's friend were also quite ahem, fond of him.

Marte did come over to acknowledge him; pretty sweet.

I think about this little boy often
