This is a Ralph Houk model lineup. If your SS normally bats third, and he's out, then put your backup SS in the three hole.

I saw them in 2018 and they exceeded my expectations. They're a fun band.

I've seen them twice and found them to be powerfully dull. If they start their set with 10 songs, none of which I know, and Robin Zander continues to cartoonishly stuff himself into his 1982 Dream Police uniform, well, you have fun with that.

It's an ALS Day patch.

June 2nd is the anniversary of the start of Lou Gehrig's streak so it has been designated by MLB as Lou/ALS day. All teams are wearing that patch today.

btw, longtime baseball writer Tim Kurkjian recently announced that his older brother has been diagnosed with ALS

That was caught, easy challenge.

Keith calling out the lazy 2nd base umpire!

Mets get the first extra-base hit as J.D. hits one that Bellinger can't run down.

Gonsolin may look like Al Hrbosky from the front, but from the back ... he's got a strong ass game.

Not Pete's greatest throw, and Mazeika waited too long to throw to Escobar, but still an excellent result.
