As per the other thread, the good, the bad, the lucky, and the stupid of Javy Baez all rolled up in a span of a couple pitches.



A two out bunt: unpredictable but not real well executed; got lucky to get the run in

Getting forced out at 2nd: stupid and/or lazy; ended an inning prematurely

Mets have now had 153 PAs this year with the bases loaded.

They have 89 RBIs in those situations but 35% of those (31) have come via non-hits: 15 BB, 10 SF, 6 HBP

leaving 59 RBI that have come via hits (.213 BA)

I don't think the Mets have even had an out out of the infield since JDD's PH Fly Out to open the 6th.

And now we have the third NYM error of the game.
