Sorry yes. I was referring to him not putting anyone on base himself.



It's still his first ding as a Met.



And he wasn't given away. He was traded for a rookie catcher who has since hit .311 / .425 / .541 // .966.



Somebody's got to pitch.

Not to Stanton unless he's gonna unintentionally intentionally walk him. That's on Luis as much as on Hand b/c Luis should know the "strength" of the pitcher and tell him what to do if Hand can't figure it out.

Wow. Diaz got out of it. He might have been the only one who expected that result. Nice going.

4 hours but a helluva game that should be played as a "Mets Classic" on SNY (with a new audio track from GKR).

Diaz just dominated Stanton there, who just swung at the garbage at his hands, except for taking strike three in the zone before popping up the next pitch on his hands again.
