Also, I was working at a job I really hated with a supervisor who really hated me and flipped out when informed her I was taking the day off, even though it had been communicated months before.



She passive-aggressively raised her voice so the whole office would hear: "You're taking off to GO TO A BASEBALL game?!?"



In today's sensitive environment I probably could have had her fired for that. Instead her husband died less than a month later at 9-11

I don't see anything in there particular to Barber.

It's a systematic problem. Barber is white. Stroman is black. That falls within the study parameters.
