I'm out on Ottoneu, never really wrapped my head around it TBH. Pulled out of my own $100 league that I've been running for 20 years, too. Tired of throwing my money away only to never win and always have the wrong guys in the lineup.



The fun time league I play with you, ABNS, will likely be the only one I play this year, maybe that plus an occasional Fanduel bet as I have some FFL money left in my FD account.

On-line Draft is 3/23 at 9pm. Takes 1-2 hours at most.

One question I think I know the answer to, but can't find - position players need to be in the position they played in IRL to get points? True or false?

No, except for starters/relievers.

yeah, position players can score in any position that they're eligible for. so if you've got a strong outfielder, who happens to be infield-eligible, you can play him there in lieu of some weak-hitting shortstop. not that those things still exist....



pitchers are different. eligibility is meaningless, unlike nearly every other format. if you've got a starter starting, and he gets into a game as a reliever, or after an opener opens for him, that doesn't count. if you've got a reliever, and he gets a spot start, or an opening, he needs to be in your lineup as a starter.



it all made more sense before openers became a thing.

Yeah, I saw his comment and I already regret taking on the job. I'd cut him one bit of slack in the hope that he's more immature than malicious, but that wasn't called for. And he complimented me in private, and now I feel bad about it. Sigh.
