Sure you do, because it's the decade we cannot escape from, with the terrifying twenties being thus-far baseball-free.



Well, you can join me in remembering the years beginning 201... .



Below, we list the top ten players at each position according to fWAR, during the decade of Hope and Change and Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, or something. Name these guys along with the slot they are in and score big points! Remember that you score more the closest you get to the slot.



Also, it's worthwhile to take note of how fWAR is done. These totals do not merely represent a player's total wins above replacement at the position in question. They represent his totals for the decade at all positions. All he needs to qualify at a position is to reach of threshold of appearances there, and then all his points are applied. So Jim Thome, in theory can rank at third, first, and DH all in the same decade. In theory. Some very few players will appear on this list more than once.



Managers are ranked by wins in the decade. For starting pitchers, we've included the top 25, and for relievers, the top 30.



In some slots I may have included more than the top 10. Those are slots where no Met resides in the top 10. There are bonus points for picking off Mets.



Also, because these things tend to get harder as they progress, I've rigged it to get easier as well. For each correct answer, one of the teams a random player played for will appear.
