Guest 41Forever Guests Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Rivera's Hall plaque is a little odd. I don't know the process of writing and signing off on the wording on the plaques, but I'm always bewildered at what nicknames the writer thinks needs to be spelled out. For example, Piazza's plaque reads: Michael Joseph Piazza "Mike". We needed to be told that a guy named Michael went by Mike? But Seaver's doesn't say George Thomas Seaver "Tom", or even "The Franchise" or "Tom Terrific." I bring this up because Rivera's plaque lists two nicknames: "Mo" and "The Sandman." Now, I know Rivera's entrance song was "Enter Sandman," but did you ever hear anyone call him that? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EABm_ZcX4AAp-Ye.jpg>

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Well, yeah, that's hardly a stretch, especially since the president owns Doral and other beloved courses.https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/may/04/golf-tour-pros-survey-donald-trump-hillary-clintonhttps://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/may/04/golf-tour-pros-survey-donald-trump-hillary-clinton
