Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Jacob deGrom and the good guys go for the sweep today. Don't sleep on the 6:10 PM start.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Would it be too much to ask for an old-fashioned blowout?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Nice of the Marlins to move the game up a whole hour due to the Mets day game tomorrow in Queens. Meanwhile, WSH is playing this afternoon so they will be in New York, resting or perhaps going to a museum or a show, while the Mets are still playing in Miami.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I think the Nationals are stopping in Syracuse first before they go to New York.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Nimmo in the lineup. Guess that means he's good to go.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 They really have a lot of guys whose name ends with an O. Six in today's lineup. Maybe one day I'll use the UMDB to see what the record is for most same-ending-letter-names in one starting lineup.

cal sharpie Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 McNeill's knee banged up, available to pinch hit.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Yay, Broxton. Show em what you got.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 (edited) McNeil has a "banged up" knee, per internet. Was wondering why he wasn't in there, [CROSSOUT]even with the lefty pitching.[/CROSSOUT]Edit: this dude's not left-handed. Edited April 3, 2019 by Guest
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 For what it's worth, hopefully not much, these pitchers matched up on March 12 and Richards pitched 5 shutout innings to get the win.https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-marlins/2019/03/12/567352#game_state=final,game_tab=box,game=567352https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs-marlins/2019/03/12/567352#game_state=final,game_tab=box,game=567352

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Weird fuckup by the infield ends as an E-6.Rosario may have gotten caught deferring to his elder when he needs to take COMMAND.Anyhow, all it did was give deGrom another chance to strike out a guy, and of course he did.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Marlins camera on Derek Jeter in his private box, as announcers wank themselves to the idea that he'll match Rivera's 100% vote.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Rosario gets the infield flare issue licked.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Can we give deGrom the 2019 Cy Young now?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 One more inning (at least) out of deGrom, please Mickey.

Both of these shit-asses on their phones, mid inning. What a bunch of teenage girls. You're missing the game, ya idiots.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Wow, deGrom is actually throwing better deeper into the game.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 He is lights out dominant. Career high 14 K's.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I'll tell you one thing though, deGrom's beard isn't winning any awards.
