Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Kluber is older and more expensive. If it means trading Noah, I’d keep Noah. Short of that I don’t know what we have left to trade.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Getting a little tired of hearing Noah's name pop up in storieslike the Mets are hell bent on moving him. Makes no sense.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Sure, but we can come up with a dozen what-ifs. The starting pitching on the Mets is the strong point. If they want to add an uberkluber fine, but moving oneof the best pitchers seems pointless to me unless they get bowled over with return.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2018 Author Posted December 2, 2018 Or unless Syndergaard's ulnar collateral is hanging by a thread.

Maybe BVW has another team lined up for Cano, and this is all part of a larger work in progress.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 That's a disappointing article in that the author doesn't even pretend to have a clue what the Mets would be offering.

So take off your Mets cap and put on your Indians cap and tell us what you think the Indians would realistically want for Kluber.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 The Indians outfield is a mess, so I've read Conforto and Nimmo are candidates, and saw somewhere else Jeff McNeil's name thrown around. Now way the Mets do this without thinking of flipping Noah for youngins to replenish the farm and for a guy like Manuel Margot to replace the outfielders lost. I just don't see the point here.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Trading Noah makes perfect sense if you assume that the front office hates their own team's fans.

dgwphotography Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 If BVW is indeed hell-bent on trading Noah, that tells me he knows something about him that we don't.
