Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I like the idea of riding Stop Making Sense HARD in this series.

Castillo would need like 11 runs in 1IP. Or 10 runs in 0 IP, but that means Vargas would have to get a hit.

duan Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Can we trade Jason Vargas to the reds between the innings?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 That Vargas signing is working out just great--nicely done Sandy!
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Ugh. And we're lucky that shit didn't roll to the wall when Yo ole'd that ball.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Vargas has gotten an out. They take the ball out of play.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Feel extremely lucky to be down only 2-0.You know, to the Reds.

Guest 41Forever Guests Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Can we send Vargas down to Vegas to work out his issues? Or, really, just to work?
duan Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 a fair few online bits - the timing was against any dailies picking it up. Might see some tomorrow. We tried to find a way to talk to him in the off-season for the magazine we do for the Dublin - Belfast train but I think we hit dead end or two and didn't really have the motivation to follow it up - must see did we actually talk to anyone or if it was just a editorial meeting chat.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Why Nimmo with the bases loaded against a lefty with Lagares and Mesoroco on the bench?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 After getting unlucky and being burned by a bloop, Robles then commits a Robles.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 We DFA’d and traded the wrong player. Robles is terrible.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 No really. Why is Robles on this team?
