It's not dumb. Cano is a 38 year old disgraced juicer who has been away a year.

I'd be surprised if Cano comes back. Would rather release him and eat the contract and not care if he plays for someone else. Would be a bold statement from Cohen.

Seems like a difference wold be guys figuring out how a pitcher is tipping signs, then talking about it in the dugout for something for guys to look for as they are heading to the batters box. But guys whistling in code from the dugout to guys already in the box before each pitch is thrown seems different.

I read the Mets will wear New York and not the team name on their chests tonight. I don't know if it will new the lettering on the road uniforms. The 7 Line folks are speculating it will be the lettering from the 1987 road uniforms. A nice trubite.

Andy Martino often says Familia and Diaz are responsible for keeping the Mets out of the playoffs in 2019. I'm sensing a repeat of that -- though you can't let the offense off the hook for these last two games.
