    And nice play, Pete!

Whoa! They were down 4-0 when I stopped watching to get some work done - and what a happy surprise! And nice play, Squirrel!

I like some of the specialty caps. These might be the best of the military appreciation versions. I have one. Hopefully the offense wakes up.

    BOOKS!!!! Nice wins!!

Both Vientos and Alvarez are sitting this one out?
  6. Marshmallowmilkshake
Three times I turned this game off, and three times I turned it back on. Something just said to stick with it. Glorious!!

    Gut punch.
  8. Marshmallowmilkshake
I was really kind of hoping they turned it around with the big win yesterday. Deflated.

Nice to see good games from Marte and Cahna.

Joey L gets sent to Syracuse technically during a game he started, and the player who replaces him on the roster - Santana - pitches in the same game.

I actually bought it from the Hall of Fame website because I couldn't find it on the MLB site.

Four runs in that bandbox is nothing. We got this.

The Cardinals have decided their big free agent catcher Willson Contreras, just signed to a five-year contract, will no longer be catching.
  14. Marshmallowmilkshake
Alvarez responds to Sanchez signing with an opposite field bomb.
  15. Marshmallowmilkshake
Well, who is catching at Syracuse while Alvarez is in New York? Might be a sign that Francisco is staying put.

=DocTee post_id=124709 time=1683553515 user_id=85] JD Davis has more homers than any Met not named Pete Alonso, and a higher OPS than Brandon Nimmo. He's better than Canha and Escobar. This trade set the team back, badly, IMO.

Beautiful work! The Senga reminds me of the epic 1975 Topps Seaver.
  18. Marshmallowmilkshake
This is bad. Rodriguez is a good pitcher. But he's not THIS good.
  19. Marshmallowmilkshake
Nothing is working offensively, but Rodriguez is finally getting his pitch count up.
  20. Marshmallowmilkshake
    Awful offensive inning.
  21. Marshmallowmilkshake
I thought Pete had that one!
  22. Marshmallowmilkshake
That was better. Alvarez was pretty animated there.
  23. Marshmallowmilkshake
Well this is not starting well.
  24. Marshmallowmilkshake
    Standing O for Justin!

There are about a million little kids here. Lots of love for Verlander. I scored seats 22 rows behind the Mets dugout!
