=Fman99 post_id=142459 time=1701981389 user_id=86] I hate Twitter, Elon Musk can fuck right off. I bounced from that site when they took my precious Tweetdeck away.

Force of July is great - and funny that the photographer in the background is checking her shot and missing the better one leaping before her!

Enjoyed the latest episode of the "National League Town" podcast on my morning commute, with the hosts talking about the 10 players with Mets connections on the ballot. Great episode!

Says the Post. Vladi Miguel Guerrero, that is. He's the 17-year-old brother of Vlad Jr., which must be confusing around the dinner table. https://nypost.com/2023/11/28/sports/mets-expected-to-sign-17-year-old-vladi-miguel-guerrero/https://nypost.com/2023/11/28/sports/mets-expected-to-sign-17-year-old-vladi-miguel-guerrero/ If you are wondering, Ohtani has one older sister, Yuka, and one older brother, Ryuta, who is also an amateur baseball player in the Japanese Industrial League.

The team's new stadium in Las Vegas will not be ready until 2028, so the team will play at a rotating series of sites in 2025, '26, and '27. Per USA Today columnist Bob Nightengale, “They will play games in Summerlin, Nevada, home of the A's Triple-A team; Oracle Park in San Francisco, where the San Francisco Giants play; and perhaps also the [Oakland] Coliseum.” This is crazy! Three years of bouncing around? That can't be easy for the players and their families.

Well these are much nicer! Force of July is a nice one! The Post photo is better than the News version. Cahna is making an odd expression in that one.

I don't know if his story behind his uniform number is true. But it was funny.

Mike Silva's podcast today looks at Ohtani, and said he wants to stay in cities west of the Mississippi, "like Chicago." Somebody send Mike a map.

It's one of those memes that people apply to various things -- like the hysterical woman and the cat eating dinner -- but it generally means a sense of obliviousness to things going bad. https://media.npr.org/assets/img/2023/01/14/this-is-fine_custom-dcb93e90c4e1548ffb16978a5a8d182270c872a9-s1100-c50.jpg>
