  1. Now Nimmo with an RBI! I've missed this!
  2. I'm headed to Pittsburgh to see the Mets on Friday and Saturday. I don't get to see them in person too often, so this will be a treat.
  3. Walking the bases loaded. You gotta be kidding me.
  4. Walking the first two batters is a bad sign.
  5. Just curious, but what were the odds before Blackburn faced the Dodgers?
  6. I'm sitting in the Atlanta airport with my flight delayed. It is indeed raining, though the heavy stuff has seemed to have passed.
  7. In the first balloting released today, Lindor has a very healthy lead, and Pete is in second place, but within striking distance of Freddy Freeman. The new All-Star Game caps are, um, interesting.
  8. He came up with the Dodgers, right? Sandy Koufax must be one of them.
  9. I think the team goes by the nickname "Woo Sox," which is not quite as cool as Paw Sox.
  10. BOOKS! Season sweep of the Rockies.
  11. That's a great story, Edgy!
  12. Starting to get a bad feeling about this game.
  13. I love that ballpark! Headed there late June to see the Mets!
  14. Senga seems to be in a groove after the first-inning jitters. Sits down Ohtani!
  15. I confess I thought for sure that was going to be a grand slam. Nice strikeout by Brazzy!
  16. A good night for Good Tylor to show up. Props so far!
  17. Seven walks. That's terrible.
  18. I collect Mets yearbooks and programs, and have a streak going back to the beginning. My 2025 Volume 64, Issue 1 with Soto on the cover arrived this week and it's really good. Mets Magazine is better than a lot of teams' yearbooks. Decent stories, great photos, and a fantastic scorecard with lots of room. Striking cover. https://fanatics.frgimages.com/new-york-mets/new-york-mets-2025-magazine-issue-1_ss5_p-203056588+u-tuwlr4tvmafs7jddnnm0+v-v2uri7tkabfmztxegvym.jpg?_hv=2&w=900> It's been tougher and tougher to get these as an out-of-market fan. I used to be able to call the team store and order them over the phone. But I've tried emailing and calling the store, and never get a response. Ebay has been really hit and miss. Was lucky that this new one was on the website, which rarely happens. The yearbook is available at the Baseball Hall of Fame store site, but shipping for that site cost more than the yearbook itself. They have free shipping sales once in a while, so I can pounce on it then. This year I was finally able to get a 1962 yearbook, which I never thought I'd be able to get. It's not in super shape, which kept the price down. I didn't really care about the condition, just wanted to have one. Good for the Mets for making the program decent.
