  1. Too much Yankee discussion.
  2. 27 at-bats 5 hits 10 strikeouts If we had dumped Valentin after 27 at-bats last year we would've never known what we lost. I'm just sayin, Franco looks his age up there.
  3. Member promotion forum
  4. Nymr83 wrote: this thread is for tripple happiness, not triple hottiness. As evidenced by the picture you are referring to.
  5. My jaw is bleeding from gritting my teeth.
  6. Spidey = Met-lovin big shot?
  7. ="Kid Carsey"]Seo: >>>Johnny Damon read the Yankee lineup before the game started.<<< Wright's version was lamer and Damon's was tough to top. Is Damon's wing that cripple or was he just kinda throwing into the pitcher? I liked it. A lot. A team with new names (or new identities): David Wright introduced the Mets batting order on the FOX telecast on Saturday in this way: "Jose Reyes, the most exciting player in the big leagues; Endy 'The Catch' Chavez; Carlos 'Mr. GQ' Beltran; Carlos Delgado, the Puerto Rican Mr. T; Yours Truly (Wright); Shawn 'I miss my hair' Green; Paul Lo Duca, our Eddie Munster; Damion 'Hit Man' Easley; and Tom Glavine, my favorite player when I was in grammar school." Because Wright introduced himself as merely "Yours truly," MLB.com asked Lo Duca to provide something a little more creative -- and sarcastic. His offering was "David 'Dig Me' Wright." Said Lo Duca: "You know he loves himself."
  8. Why did Green come out?
  9. Green is 2 for 25 (.080) against Eyre lifetime. Willie admits to not knowing the numbers, but he says he went with his gut because of Green's statement. "Guys rarely say that they can't hit someone." He had two outs left so he can bat Wright for Gotay or Green. Turns out he was right, using actual logic and experience this time. Maybe it took brains and experience, not just cajones?
  10. Willie on the FAN re: Eyre "Green told me the day before 'I just can't hit this guy'. So I had Wright there and I used him." CPF wrote: gotay is hitting! willie is a fucking idiot! Gotay is not going to hit right? Gotay gets the hit. Holy ass, Willie's backward logic works again. Maybe, just maybe, Willie knows his team better than a bunch of bums on the internet. PS: I wanted Wright for Gotay, not Green, too.
  11. If six games is that big a difference than you don't deserve to make the playoffs. Quit fucking whining and play the games. I love playing the Skankwhores. Even when they were at their peak.
  12. Hey. That green and pink thing is stupid.
  13. The voting for Newhan on 5/12 is confusing me.
  14. ="Kid Carsey"]E88: >>>Not a single amusing thing can go by without it being spoiled I guess.<<< What are you addressing? If it's my microwaving m.e.t.b.o.t. or suggesting that the new guy not vote a 10 then perhaps we're just amused differently. Neither
  15. Appreciate it
  16. Not a single amusing thing can go by without it being spoiled I guess.
  17. That's about what I expected.
  18. Nice to Delgado in the hot section. I like that board. We've chatted with them the last couple of years IIRC.
  19. Did you spell Milwaukee that way on purpose?

Which is the reason why Sony pretty much "forced" Sam Rami to use Venom in this film. Rami wanted to concentrate on the more classic villians that were created during Stan Lee's run with the character, but Sony essentially made Rami use probably the most popular villian in Spidey's Rouges Gallery. I don't suppose you have proof of this? I'd be interested to read where you got this from.
  21. I got pretty bored. The action scenes were great but in between was a snooze-fest. I'm tired of speeches from Aunt May.
  22. Pittsburgh and Milwaukee tied at 3 in the 14th.
  23. Didn't we throw him a beating once?
  24. Chavez 1 Green 1 Pelfrey 1 Schoeneweis 1 Feliciano 0.5 Urdaneta 0.5
  25. 9-2 on the Green double.
