    This is such a no-brainer. Someone in the organization fucked up ( I don't want to know if the Wilpons knew about it and did nothing to stop it). Sometimes you have to pay the price for such errors. This is one of those times. Piazza's dad was going to try and get in on the auction but now he thinks it'll end up a bidding war and he pulled out. Mike Piazza could afford it, no? And then donate it?
