  1. I think it was more that Pelfrey was kinda laboring at time and it was the "heart" of the lineup and the 4th time through. I expected him to come out for the 7th though.
  2. I enjoyed it. I had no idea it was Woody Allen nor am I a fan of Paris. Although most of these literary movies go over my head, and usually convince me I should read more Hemmingway/T.S. Eliott/etc. What was Dali's obsession with Hippos? Does he draw Hippos a lot? Is there a famous painting I'm unaware of? I felt like the movie ended a bit abruptly though. From his 'aha' moment to the end of the film seemed too quick.
  3. 2-1 through 2. Pelfrey laboring, missing zone with fastballs, floating curves. but hey, the Phillies suck so they can't string together enough bleeders t oscore.

  10. Wife likes to watch Timmy, so probably going next Sunday for his start. and then maybe the Tuesday after that for the t-shirt giveaway.
  11. Stockboy, wisened up by reading a menu, mucks the winning hand to curry favor with the boss.
  12. Fman99 wrote: My wife's favorite: Cat is disturbed by child who won't poop in the sandbox. The cat/dog commercials are all great. It almost makes up for 30-50 PSA's per game of the same kids getting killed in the road. yeah, those shelter ones are great. the dog toy hide and seek one is great.
  13. Edgy DC wrote: Eight games in and the post-Reyes Mets finally garner their first stolen base. If you had Baxter in the pool, well, you are amazing. Some really crazy firsts this year. so who's gonna be the crazy one to finish off the chart? Who gets the triple? who would be the craziest? Frank Francisco?
  14. Gwreck wrote: Halladay, Kershaw, Santana, Billingsley, Strasburg, Zito? Which one of these is not like the others! Two really, Billingsley and Strasburg.

  16. still no triples or SB.

  19. Did Rollins mouth something? Hard to tell..I'll wait to see what Thole says (taht said, don't listen to the freaking enemy and drill Rollins please) Bay with an outfield assist too?
  20. My wife's favorite: Cat is disturbed by child who won't poop in the sandbox.
  21. Just as Gary's talking about all Lee's shutouts, double double and 1-0.
  22. Don't forget that the Mets own Hamels.
  23. Well, people copy New York. Same with McFaddens. and hell, Nathans. Even the baseball history story suggests it originated here.
  24. Can we call Zack lutZ ZZ?
  25. Did you drive down to South Point? That was a weird drive of abandoned fields and windmills. damn you Victorino for derailing the thread btw. PHillies closer Jon Papelbon, has vowed to change his warm up music for every game.
