  1. Well, then, there you go. That should make their snake problem go away too, then.
  2. Which, unless it floated away, is still in Europe.
  3. Piazza
  4. ="AG/DC"]I'm still waiting on folks to come around on Ted Robinson. He's something of a zombie, really.

  6. One of my favorite players. I'm sad to have to root against him for the next month.
  7. ="metirish"]Funny that they call themselves Sam Champion and are Mets fans. "Wait... what?"
  8. I love those old Starting Lineup figures.
  9. Centerfield wrote: How funny would it be if Pavano sucked all this time for the Yankees, then was lights out in September and October for the Mets? ON EDIT: Do we still have Tony Armas Jr.? If so, we would have all the pieces of that trade that sent Pedro to the Red Sox. That would make MFY fans crawl into the Stadium as it was being imploded. I would take Pavano and watch him help the Mets win a division title. That would kick ass.

  11. Fatso and Froot Loops was Mike & The Dog. If Delgado finishes in the 35 HR/115 RBI range, which is not out of the question, then he's certainly in the MVP discussion. Maybe not as a winner -- Wright and Reyes will siphon his votes -- but he'll get some low-end votes.

  13. Fun IGT, everyone. I was honored to be the Mets' rep tonight at MFY Stadium II for the collapse of the great Yankees. While the Yankee fans were streaming from the park in the top of the eighth, I was following along on my phone to the goings-on in Philly. Kinda surprised nobody "fell off the escalators" tonight... the place was a morgue, except for a meaningless ninth inning HR by Roids McGilliguddy. Loved it. Wore my RAMETS shirt proudly.

Funny here when Sir Sidney is walking the park. There's an eerie sense of dread here, like they know their season's over... especially when your must-win game starter is Sidney Ponson.

  16. Heading into the belly of the beast, as a colleague got free last-minute field level seats at MFY Stadium Redux. It's Byrd-Ponson, which isn't exactly Pettitte-Schilling, but it's all good. Wearing my CPF shirt.
  17. I heard him say that too. I don't know; Castro is a candy ass and he is dead to me.
  18. I've really liked what Stokes has brought to the bullpen.
  19. SIT DOWN, Pat Burrell. Fuck yeah, Brian Stokes.
  20. Ah, fucking hell, Delgado. DAMMIT.
  21. Found it. Come on, Carlos, fucking jack one out of here.
  22. Wait... what did I say last night? /goes to check the other IGT
  23. And it doesn't matter as Beltran gets hit in the shoe.
  24. Reyes with his 42nd steal. Don't know what happened with Easley and why he's not on second base right now.
