If so, we would have all the pieces of that trade that sent Pedro to the Red Sox. That would make MFY fans crawl into the Stadium as it was being imploded. I would take Pavano and watch him help the Mets win a division title. That would kick ass.
Fatso and Froot Loops was Mike & The Dog. If Delgado finishes in the 35 HR/115 RBI range, which is not out of the question, then he's certainly in the MVP discussion. Maybe not as a winner -- Wright and Reyes will siphon his votes -- but he'll get some low-end votes.

Fun IGT, everyone. I was honored to be the Mets' rep tonight at MFY Stadium II for the collapse of the great Yankees. While the Yankee fans were streaming from the park in the top of the eighth, I was following along on my phone to the goings-on in Philly. Kinda surprised nobody "fell off the escalators" tonight... the place was a morgue, except for a meaningless ninth inning HR by Roids McGilliguddy. Loved it. Wore my RAMETS shirt proudly.

Funny here when Sir Sidney is walking the park. There's an eerie sense of dread here, like they know their season's over... especially when your must-win game starter is Sidney Ponson.
Heading into the belly of the beast, as a colleague got free last-minute field level seats at MFY Stadium Redux. It's Byrd-Ponson, which isn't exactly Pettitte-Schilling, but it's all good. Wearing my CPF shirt.
