  3. Just more LOLMets stuff. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
  4. Had a good year here in Syracuse last year, .282 BA with 11 HR and an OPS just under .800 in 425 plate appearances. There was lots of Mendick enjoyment in my town
  5. Pretty bad rarity score but at least I was able to come up with all six of the two team overlaps. That'd be a long shot most days. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 313 9/9: Rarity: 236 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 PIT/PHL - Andrew McCutchen 35 PIT/MIL - Daniel Vogelbach 8 PIT/LF - Barry Bonds 16 TOR/PIT - Roy Halladay 59 TOR/MIL - Paul Molitor 34 TOR/LF - Rickey Henderson 4 DET/PHL - Nick Castellanos 27 DET/MIL - Prince Fielder 48 DET/LF - Al Kaline 6
  6. May be my new best rarity score. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 312 9/9: Rarity: 46 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 NEGL/300AVG - Roy Campanella 4 NEGL/10HR - Larry Doby 12 NEGL/10W - Don Newcombe 9 LAD/300AVG - Babe Herman .3 LAD/10HR - Duke Snider 2 LAD/10W - Orel Herscheiser 6 BAL/300AVG - Frank Robinson 7 BAL/10HR - Mike Bordick .5 BAL/10W - Mike Cuellar 4
  7. I'll watch it eventually. It's a great book.
  8. Pat Mahomes, Sr., erstwhile father to an MVP quarterback, just pinched for his third DWI. Frowny face
  9. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 308 9/9: Rarity: 123 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 LAD/OAK - Rich Hill 4 LAD/3ERA - Eric Gagne 7 LAD/NOH - Koufax 34 CHC/OAK - Dave Kingman 4 CHC/3ERA - Fergie Jenkins 12 CHC/NOH - Carlos Zambrano 24 CY/OAK - Barry Zito 33 CY/3ERA - Doc Gooden 2 CY/NOH - Tom Seaver 5
  10. Throws hard. Command issues. Kinda like the right-handed version of the guy they signed the other day. Question. Let's assume the Mets pitching lab is for real. Does it make a difference if they sign a guy this late in the game? I mean, spring training is in two weeks. Is that enough time to fix him? https://www.surfertoday.com/images/stories/jeffspicoli2.jpg> Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.
  11. My mailbox is sadly empty

  13. Ah, the Toddfather. Still a Yankee shitfart
  14. I got all 9 but rarity schmarity I say. I legit could not come up with another Giants C or Cardinals SS. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 305 9/9: Rarity: 248 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 NEGL/P - Don Newcombe 5 NEGL/C - Roy Campanella 38 NEGL/SS - Jackie Robinson 76 SF/P - Tim Lincecum 13 SF/C - Buster Posey 42 SF/SS - Brandon Crawford 39 STL/P - Joaquin Andujar 1 STL/C - Tim McCarver 7 STL/SS - Ozzie Smith 26
  15. Like a lot of quad AAA types, I remember them more for their appearances in the 'Cuse, in the flesh, than I do for anything accomplished at the MLB level.
  16. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 304 9/9: Rarity: 154 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 OAK/PIT - Rich Hill 11 PIT/GG - Bill Mazeroski 5 PIT/SS - Barry Bonds 35 OAK/PHL - Jeurys Familiar 2 PHL/GG - Scott Rolen 8 PHL/SS - Jimmy Rollins 6 OAK/DET - Octavio Dotel 4 DET/GG - Alan Trammell 28 DET/SS - Miggie Cabrera 55
  17. Edgy MD wrote: Does anybody still think Turner's still got something positive left to offer? Long about now, I'd have more faith in Daniel Murphy, I think. He his .276 with 23 HRs and 96 RBIs for Boston last year, and an OPS of .800. Those numbers would be in the top 4 across the board had they been applied to the 2023 Mets. So, yeah, I think he can still hit.
  18. Finally after several straight 8/9's... ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 302 9/9: Rarity: 109 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 LAA/WAS - Bartolo Colon 5 LAA/1B - Mo Vaughn 3 LAA/10W - Kevin Appier .9 SD/WAS - Juan Soto 49 SD/1B - Eric Hosmer 21 SD/10W - Randy Jones 6 NYY/WAS - Randy Johnson 17 NYY/1B - Tino Martinez 7 NYY/10W - Jim Bouton .6
  19. Edgy MD wrote: I think of those things. A lot. I mean, does every day count as a lot? Then yeah
  20. Sunny indeed. I also wonder why Lucchesi is consistently slotted after a bunch of guys with what seem to me to be more questionable pedigrees. Perhaps the Mets have already earmarked him for the Trevor Williams swing role position.
  21. Good signing especially with Robertson being off the market now.
  22. Will live on at our house through his namesake, our cat Cookie.

  24. I have sat with my kids all over the ball park and the honest answer is, as long as you're on the infield you'll have a good view. I'd think in April you're better off spending a bit more with access to the 300 level which has some indoor, weather-proof seating, but we make one trip per year, and last summer sat in the top deck but right behind the plate and had a great time.
  25. =Gwreck post_id=145203 time=1705443035 user_id=56] April and May: makes total sense. July/August: not really.
