  1. Some blogger that I was reading suggested that the Mets could offer Heilman with the possibility of the Pirates giving him his long-standing desire to try and make it as a starting pitcher. I wonder if that'd be enough though, given Aaron's recent struggles. GOK the Pirates could use more help in their rotation.
  2. Santana - 2 Feliciano - .5 Wagner - .5 Sosa - 1 Wright - 2 Reyes - 2 Church - 2
  3. Current streak - 1 Longest streak - 1 30 April: Ryan Church

  5. ="Nymr83"]="Triple Dee"]Earlier in the Bronx -- The Gambler got out of 1 out, bases loaded jam against the MFY. ****. if this had been a playff game he would have coughed up a grand slam there. Yeah or walked in the run in extra frames. Ugh, I hate that guy.
  6. Damn. Beltran laid out but it was not to be. Ah well we'll get em in the bottom half.
  7. Wow. Gutsy work by Sanchez to get out of that inning only giving up one run. Phew.
  8. Ruh-roh. 2nd and 3rd, no outs for ol' Filthy Sanchez. Let's see what he can do.
  9. Hey! The good Reyes is back tonight. I missed him.

  11. Wow! Umps blow that call to the Mets' benefit. (I just got here. HOW does Willie bring in Heilman, with a lead and the way he's pitched recently? Fire his dumb ass please.)

  13. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: ="Triple Dee"]="Fman99"]He should've named one of them Kunty. I laughed so hard when I read this, and I continued laughing throughout the day. Very good. same here Thanks guys. Nothing's funny like taboo profanity used repeatedly and idiotically.
  14. Valadius wrote: ]Clemens had 10-year affair with country music star McCready Roger Clemens carried on a decade-long affair with country star Mindy McCready, a romance that began when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer performing in a karaoke bar and Clemens was a 28-year-old Red Sox ace and married father of two, several sources have told the New York Daily News. The revelations could torpedo claims of an unsullied character that are central to the defamation suit Clemens filed Jan. 6 against his former personal trainer Brian McNamee. Vivid details of the affair could surface in several media projects that McCready is involved with including a documentary that begins filming today in Nashville, a new album and a reality show. McCready, who lives on a quiet, tree-lined street in Nashville, is attempting a career comeback following a string of legal and personal woes. Contacted by the Daily News Sunday through his lawyer Rusty Hardin, Clemens confirmed a long-term relationship but denied that it was of a sexual nature. "He flatly denies having had any kind of an inappropriate relationship with her," Hardin said. "He's considered her a close family friend. ... He has never had a sexual relationship with her." Hardin said the Rocket's wife, Debbie, knew McCready and that the singer had traveled on his plane. Source: New York Daily News According to Mike and Mike, McCready confirmed the romantic relationship in today's Daily News. A day after Clemens' scumbag lawyer denied that it ever happened. I'm looking forward to the story they break about Clemens killing and eating puppies and kittens and then burning down day care centers and dry humping nuns and orphans. Keep it coming!
  15. ="OlerudOwned"]]"My wife, Debbie, and my sons - Koby, Kory, Kacy and Kody - mean more to me than anything in the world." The greatest crime of all. He should've named one of them Kunty.
  16. I assumed from the headline that he was having the relationship with Clemens-doppleganger Toby Keith. This is great stuff, though.
  17. ="Nymr83"]you watched GOLF instead of the mets? No I played golf all afternoon.
  18. I missed the whole game today (golf tournament). I was glad to see them get off the shnide, for a day at least.
  19. Maine - 3 Wright - 1.5 Beltran - 1.5 Church - 1.5 Wagner - 1.0 Schoeneweis - 0.75 Sanchez - 0.75
  20. Wright .5 Beltran .5 Sanchez .5 Schoenweiss .5 Church .5
  21. Blecch.
  22. ="KC"]Pissed at what? The money? The loss? No homers? You go full well knowing that anything can happen on any given day. Shitty play. Watching them making bad throws, swinging at junk, pop ups, shoddy bullpen work, etc., etc., what exactly is there that I'm not pissed about? I live 320 miles from Shea. I only get to actually attend 1-2 games per year because I have small children and traveling with them is complicated. So when I do get to go, and they play like half-assed bush leaguers, I get pissed.
  23. Fuck. Anyone who wants to, you know, get a clutch hit, go for it. We won't be mad.
