  1. Ray "Burger" King not getting it done for the Nats. Nice to see an honest to God rally. I missed the Friday and Saturday games while traveling so I feel like it's been an eternity since I've seen them string a bunch of runs together.
  2. How or why is Milledge wearing number 42? It's not Jackie Robinson day anymore. WTF?
  3. ="AG/DC"]="Benjamin Grimm"]I think, if I lived in Germany, I'd be inclined to root for the NEUNKIRCHEN NIGHTMARES. That's because you're not existential enough to hitch your wagon to the WANDERERS. To hell with interleague and the DH. I could even see a single 3 game interleague series per year. Just one. Give us Mets v MFY's and rotate it home/home. Or don't.
  5. Personally I'd rather see more games against the NL Central and West. Maybe still have more divisional games but less drastic of a difference than the 19 or so vs. each divisional opponent and 5-7 games against the other NL teams.
  6. Triple Dee wrote: ="Fman99"]Mets 0 The natives are growing restless. Perhaps. I still think of the former NL East teams as real rivals. I hate losing to the stupid Cubs and the stupid Pirates. Damn this unbalanced schedule... do we really need 38 games against Florida and Washington? Plus they played some lifeless ball the last two days. Aside from the starting pitching, which was steady, what was there to get excited about? ARGH.
  7. Maine 2.5 Sanchez 1 Chavez .25
  8. Figueroa 2 Beltran .5 Clark 1
  9. No gushing from me. He's a stupid Brave. Fuck him and his bearded ass.
  10. Mets 0 There. I wanted to put that in the last two POTG votes but I don't want to fuck anything up.
  11. What a butt-fuck of a 2 game set that was. I tuned in on XM with the Mets down 3-1 and it was 8-1 when I got to the bar. Just the right place to go, too, given the ending. Sheesh.
  12. Well that sucked didn't it.
  13. OK, check that. Go Angel.
  14. Ha! Stupid So Taguchi. Let's see if Endy's got any clutch hits in that bat of his.
  15. Holy shit how does anyone listen to these two boobs week after week? They just go on and on.
  16. OK, Let's Go Mets!
  17. Anyone else noticing a home-field strike zone advantage besides me? Maybe I'm just cheesed off at the shoddy relief pitching. I thought Pelf was getting squeezed earlier.
  18. Nice basket catch by Churchy. Top of the lineup coming up in the 7th.

  20. Dang. Bottom of the lineup can't continue the trend. Still, brand new ball game.
  21. Boo-ya! (I missed all Friday and Satuday's games while visiting family out of town). Piece of advice. Don't take two kids age 3 and 9 months on a 350 mile car ride. Bad things ensue.
  22. Fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuckity fuckin fuck.
  23. I don't like Church bunting. He's been swinging a good bat -- let him take his cuts. Though he could be bunting on his own there.
  24. Maybe the Mets can get to Ray "Burger" King.
