  1. Santana 4 Church 1.5 Beltran 1.5 Wright 1.5 Reyes 1.5
  2. Nice backwards K to end the inning there for Johan. He settled down nicely the last few innings.
  3. It should be less painful with Alou and Church back in the lineup, and Beltran and Wright (hopefully) warming up at the dish the past 3-4 days.
  4. These guys are the suckiest bunch of suck that ever sucked. Actually, no. Buck and McCarver are more irritating to me. I will say that I catch Miller occasionally on XM as he is the regular voice of the SF Giants on the radio. And he is far more listenable on the radio than on TV as he has to spend less time yapping and more time calling the game. But Morgan stinks out loud. Maybe I'm on overload with back to back national games and general blah blah blah-iness.
  5. Blah blah blah blah blah. Miller and Morgan are asses.
  6. TREMENDOUS double play, Wright to Castillo to Delgado.
  7. No offense to ol' penis-nose over in the other dugout but I hope to see the Mets thrash these stupid Dodgers tonight. Good to see Church back in the lineup.
  8. It should be noted that Manny went deep for #500 off of former Met Chad Bradford, or Brad Chadford as he was sometimes called around my house.
  9. Pelfrey 3.5 Beltran 2 Tatis 1.5 Wagner 1.5 Sanchez 1 Wright .5
  10. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Having said that, he didn't show much during his Mets tenure. This leaves room for a more lively arm in the pen than his.
  11. Quiet day in the IGT with much of the CPF'ers in attendance today. I agree - send Pelf back to AAA and let Vargas hold that 5th spot. One wins and one doesn't. Seems like a no brainer to me.
  12. Castillo 1.5 Reyes 1 Beltran .5 Castro .5 Maine 1 Schoeneweis .5 Muniz .5

  14. Yeah, the Evans K to end of the 7th with the bases loaded and the Mets up 5-4 was big. I felt it might be.
  15. That's that. The wheels really came off on the groundout that started the 8th. Awful call by the first base ump.
  16. Down to their last 3 outs. LET'S GO METS.
  17. Heilman isn't.

Stupid Second Amendment. In that case, I amend my vote to "Ready to Be a Useful Contributor." Optimism abounds.

Seriously?) and the mandatory "one guy from each team" rule, the rosters are mostly a joke. Plus we'll get beaten over the head with the whole MFY/Boston angle and the demise of "The House that Chambliss Built." Not to mention the continued poor showing every year by the NL squad. Not much left to sell to me.

  23. Schoewey staying in and getting the AB here.
  24. Schneider delivers another 2 out RBI and the Metsies are starting to open this one up a bit. I approve of this behavior.
  25. Great infield hit by Chavez to get the two out RBI. He literally thew the bat at the ball to put it in play.
