    This is going great. Except if you're listening to the FS1 broadcast team. FS standing, of course, for "Fucking Sucks."

    Mets faced Nola twice in 2024 with vastly different results. On May 14 he through a complete game four hit shutout with 8 K's to beat the Mets 4-0 at Citi Field. On September 13th, though, he gave up 6 ER on 2 walks and 6 hits in 4 1/3 innings, in an 11-3 drubbing in Philly, including home runs given up to Francisco Alvarez and Brandon Nimmo.

    After the past couple of weeks is there any doubt that Mets postseason baseball is just more exciting and better than any other team's postseason? Shouldn't all the Mets games be the prime time games?

    Watched the highlights again just now, which are enjoyable as long as you close the window in the middle of the 9th. The clutch HRs are pretty great.

    I actually thought it was a smart move, to bring him in to face the best hitters in the 7th/8th. Problem is that he didn't retire them.

    Oh another thing that I hate - any records that reference cumulative postseason stats. Of course these guys have the most postseason home runs ever. The 1950s Yankees and Dodgers never had more than 7 games in a postseason. These teams could have as many as 22.
