    I had missed this, but my boy is on his way up. Called up to AA and making his first start for the B-Mets, D-O gets a win and puts up a nice line. Dylan Owen (W, 1-0) 6 IP 6 H 1 ER 2 BB 5 K

    Funny that I picked Owen, too. He has the same birthday as my daughter (22 years apart, that is).

    Not in the CPF league but in another league that I participate in. Stupid Armando Benitez continues to haunt me as a Mets fan, blowing a 4-0 lead by Shawn Marcum and costing my team a win. And thanks to the magic of MLB EI I got to watch the whole thing happen. Just like old times.

    Pitcher Age IP H R ER BB SO HBP HR ERA Dylan Owen (W, 3-4) 21 6.1 10 4 4 0 6 0 1 3.51 Owen has 3 of St. Lucie's 13 wins (they are a putrid 13-45). Still, his peripheral numbers are only so-so here in high-A.

    Owen got a no-decision yesterday but had a good outing... 6 innings, 6 hits, one walk, two runs (one earned), 1 K. Now 2-3 but with a nice little 3.14 ERA.

    My boy is mowing em down for the high A St. Lucie Mets. Started yesterday, threw six shutout innings. He allowed five hits, walked none, and struck out six. He's now 1-1 with a 1.64 ERA.

    Read the book. I watched parts 2 and 3 this past weekend on my free HBO preview that I'm getting. I suppose I will miss the rest of them. Not too bad. Paul Giamatti can act, let there be no doubt of that.

    I love my team. I have a team in a 12-team league that I don't think is as good as this one. Tonight is my 3rd and final draft, an NL-only 12 team league. I've always wanted to try the single-league format and NL-only specifically.
