1. Yeah I'm changing my answer to Max Krack-knick
2. I remembered yesterday in time to watch the last 5-ish innings of the game. Today, not so much. Fully blanked and missed all of it, despite being online at 6:30 AM and working from home all morning. My wife + daughter getting ready for work and school are a bit distracting around here.
3. I live in a Mets minor league town and I still have not heard of this guy. I think he's an AI creation that Edgy made up. Burden of proof that he exists is on you not me
4. I would think that on any given day that Baty is on the active MLB roster but not playing in a game (say, if Acuna is at 2B), then Baty becomes a likely late inning defensive swap for Vientos. Time will tell Really? From what I've seen this spring, admittedly not a lot of games, Vientos looks very good at 3B, really strong arm, good instincts, smart positioning. I wouldn't replace him defensively, unless maybe with Clete Boyer and Clete hasn't been feeling well these past few years anyway. I'll confess to only paying intermittent attention to these spring games, so, I trust any observations you've made on this point over my own presumptions from years past.

6. Benjamin Grimm wrote: You did better than I did. I went with the most obvious choice, Pujols. I'm sure he and Edmonds were 1-2. Some work days I have time to leave one like this blank and circle back to it, but I was out Friday and I knew I'd be swamped all day.
7. His fate seems very much married to Baty's, and McNeil's. I believe as others here do that he will show he's the real deal if given the opportunity to play every day, especially hitting lower in the order where there's less pressure on him.
8. Seriously, what the hell kind of name is Framber anyway
9. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 715 9/9: Rarity: 61 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 Probably should have sat on ANA/STL longer to see what I could have come up with. 10. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: Not 4 nothing but the Mets look like shit. Also this web site performance is awful. Listened to this one in the car while driving Fboy back to Oneonta for the end of spring break. They didn't play very well and XM only had the Astros radio crew, who sucked almost as much as the Mets players did
11. I'd think that being the best defender of the three candidates to back up Torrens makes him a favorite over the other two guys. Like I know though
12. =Gwreck post_id=187226 time=1741981350 user_id=56] Britton reports that (1) Senga won't be ready for opening day and (2) Mets had previously expressed interest in not putting Peterson up against the Astros.
13. Oblique? More like Oh, bleak am I right ?
14. Phil Maton on a one year deal to help bolster the St. Louis bullpen

16. I expect to get a lot of Mauricio viewing time this year here in Syracuse and I'm pretty happy about that. I don't see a path for him to acquire a lot of MLB at bats, barring multiple players getting hurt.
17. Episode 85 of the Mets on Tap podcast now available for listening ! Catch Ceetar and I discussing catching depth, spring injuries, rotation battles, ticket prices, and the alarming trend of local breweries closing their doors. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mets-on-tap/id1558213831 Or, you know, don't listen, and just go **** off in the corner somewhere.
18. Edgy MD wrote: Always bears repeat viewing: Tough to beat this one. Three minute commercials in Japan? Yeah I didn't even know I had a thing for hot Asian women with open batting stances.

21. James McCann, more like James TomatoCann. That guy sucks and it's been Met-documented

23. I think doctor's cut his elbow open and find that it's all just ticker tape in there where it should be tendons and such. Sucks to suck
24. Sucked a lot more in 2024 than the previous years. It was a foregone conclusion that if he played in the majors in 2025 it'd be for some other team, so, good luck to the guy.
25. Luis Torrens has looked good this spring and I think he's a better able backup catcher than many teams have. Of course I thought that last year about Omar Narvaez so what the hell do I know.
