  1. Yeah, see ya, beat it, ya bearded jackass.
  2. Good stuff so far. Thanks for pointing out the roster moves, the Mets web site is useless as usual with that stuff.
  3. Edgy MD wrote: I listened to that broadcast as well. It could have been called "Two Drunk Guys Who Can Barely Lift Their Heads Struggling to Describe the Moving Shapes in Front of Them." I drove home thinking of sending St. Louis a sizzle reel of my own. The second guy, who called the middle innings, was the worst. The Cano HR call had all the enthusiasm of a man passing gas on the train.
  4. Eyeballing the schedule for our annual summer weekday sojourn, maybe Thurs 7/25 for the 12:10 SD game, or Wed 8/7 12:10 for a Marlins game. Not yet decided.
  5. We were driving home from Maryland today and listened to the last 2/3 of the game on XM. I can tell you two things, one is that the Mets are underperforming in almost all areas, and two is that the St. Louis radio broadcasters are just dreadful.
  6. Chris Flexen filling in for our hero.
  7. They are the MFYs of the NL, so, you know, let's hate on them. I'll start. Yadier Molina? That guy can die in a toilet drowning.
  8. If this partially accounts for his back to back non-deGrom like outings, then, yeah, good diagnosis. He needs to be less Trachshel-y.
  9. Hit a big HR? Take your rig out and drag it around the bases. You earned it. It's hard to hit a baseball that far! Plus, yeah, inside, high and tight. Make them get out of the way. It's your strike zone.
  10. Shit ass falls out of a tree, thanks the Lord for his wireless coverage.
  11. I went to bed when Fammy loaded em up. I can't stay up just to watch that kind of nonsense.
  12. I just took this flight for work, last month, we were in the air between SYR and JFK for maybe 45 minutes. When I go in November for the New York City Marathon I'll be taking an Amtrak in and out.
  13. Pop up sliding is dumb.
  14. Darryl should be nervous about his record holding up, I dare say.
  15. Well thank fucking God the forum is back. I was going shit ass crazy.
  16. Yep it is satisfying. Onward!
  17. I think Frazier takes Guillorme's spot and they just hope that Rosario can stay on the field for every inning of every game. And Fraze gets the same pinch-spot start at 1B and 3B to spell the good players. Cause really, what has Guillorme done besides catch a bat in PSL?

  20. Nimmo starting to come around.
  21. This game is great. I love the 2019 Mets so far, they hit, they pitch, they manufacture runs. It's like they are trying to be good or something.
  22. Big feller getting the night off at 1B. I like McNeil/Rosario at the top, they're both hitting more than Nimmo of late.
  23. That was AMAZING!
  24. Wow, a KTE, it's like seeing a classic car with fins. Nice work bruddah.
  25. Edgy MD wrote: Since the opening day loss, the Syracuse Mets are undefeated, having upped their record to 4-1, tied for the top record in the International League. Destroying it at the plate so far has been Dilson Hererra. The super-destructive Son of a Dil has gone 7-for-his-first-11, with four of those hits — three doubles and a homer — going for extra bases. When Frazier comes back, and maybe Lowrie, DH is going to slide even further down the depth chart, but when the guy's head hit the pillow last night with a .636 / .692 / 1.182 // 1.874, it's certainly an open question whether he should, small sample size and all. The star of the first time through the rotation was Drew Gagnon. Orange-and-Blue Drew went five shutout innings on Sunday against the always-dangerous Pawtucket Red Sox on Sunday, striking out five, walking but one, and surrendering only three hits. Looking good, Dirtbag. Anchoring the pen so far has been the mellifluously named Arquimedes Caminero. Arquie has already saved two games, throwing 2 1/3 innings in his first two appearances, allowing no runs on three hits. The OrangeMets host Rochester tonight, with the starter as yet un-named. It's Taco Tuesday, so fans can purchase three delicious handmade tacos for $8 from one of the many taco carts at NBT Bank Stadium. The Trump campaign was right in warning us that there would be taco trucks on every corner. They were just gloriously wrong about him being able to do anything to stop it. I hear it was crazy busy and that the taco vendors were overwhelmed. I am personally waiting for better weather (though last night the temps were fantastic, 60 degrees at first pitch, but I am on call all week and can't really do my job from there if called upon).
