    He had a brutal game Saturday and is off to a rocky start. I don't think Nido will ever be much of a hitter, yesterday being the rare exception, but if he can be a solid guy with the mitt and spell Ramos once a week, I suppose he's just another MLB backup catcher. I'd prefer Mesoraco as the bench guy, I feel like he could at least give you the rare pop, not that he wants to participate.

    Any interest in a CPF meetup on Sat, August 3rd in Pittsburgh? My wife and daughter are camping all weekend with the Girl Scouts, so I was thinking my son and I might drive out for that game (it's a 7 PM start, fireworks night). I have heard only great things about that stadium and Fboy has never been to a Mets road game before.

    I have not done my part to help attendance, yet. (There's a 10:35 AM game today for the kids, forecasted temps around 48 degrees at game time, no thank you). We'll be there more often come June.
