  1. This inning is a real asshole.
  2. OK now I get it. He truly is the lemonade of vinyl. Also nice glove work by the Piss Missile.
  3. This is managing with the intent of getting people pissed on the internet. Because what the holy fucking else could it all mean?
  4. Are they going to pull him after 77 pitches and some white hot heat like that? FFS
  5. Yes I meant that actually after I hit Submit, less than half.
  6. What the fuck does the lemonade of vinyl mean?
  7. Right. Maybe if you want to host that big fancy All Star game, don't pass laws discriminating against half of your state's population.
  8. Not a strike to get Davis. Get me a robot ump stat.
  9. Awful lineup choice to start the season. C'mon man.
  10. Hate the Nimmo/Pillar lineup and Nimmo 8th and Smith on the pine. HATE IT.
  11. Boy, if this guy can stay healthy for a full season (which has been said about him really since he got to MLB I reckon)... I am bullish on him. I'll guess 13-6, an ERA around 3.30 and a bunch of strong starts. Misses a stretch this summer for some minor ailment but otherwise remains upright.
  12. The Phitin Phillies, whom we hate, and whom suck, are off to a 3-0 start after manslapping Atlanta all weekend. None of the hitters had monster weekends, here are the stats to date: Hoskins 1B 3/13 2 2B, 2R, 2 RBIs Segura 2B 3/12 1R 1 RBI Gregorius SS 3/11 6Ks Bohn 3B 2/10 2 RBIs Harper RF 3/10 1 R McCutchen LF 1/9 Realmuto C 4/9 2 2B 1 RBI Haseley/Quinn CF combined 2/10 with one run The starters that were out there for the opening set all did well -- quality starts by Nola, Elfin and Wheeler. Bullpen strong as well - wins by Jose Alvarado and Connor Brogdon in relief appearances. Overall in 27 IP they allowed just 3 earned runs total, none by the relievers. In fact their pen has gone 7.1 IP and allowed just 1 hit and 4 walks.
  13. So, which Met takes the tiniest, daintiest shits? I'd say that's probably Jeff McNeil. I imagine a lot of squirrel-ish type pellets in his digestive output.
  14. Which Met takes the biggest shits? My guess is that it's Syndergaard. I feel like a big strong Thor-type would fire off a real toilet spud.
  15. Already hearing rumors that Monday's Nats/Braves tilt is going to be scratched and they're hoping to start Tuesday.
  16. Yeah set him on fire in a metal barrel. Agreed.
  17. No Mets games all weekend is some dickage.
  18. Damn not a player over 34. Good, young players
  19. Not official yet but the Twatterverse is saying now that the entire Mets/Nats series is being canned. Mets now open season Monday night at Philly. If they can avoid giving each other Covid until then.
  20. Yah I predict he rakes all year and shusshes the naysayers. No nay saying on his watch! Hits .305 with 22 HRs and passable enough glove work in LF when not spelling the Piss Missile at 1B.
  21. Already queued up as a topic for week 3 of the Barley Prose "Mets on Tap" podcast - "Why does the commissioner hate baseball?"
  22. Makes a bunch of strong late inning defensive plays in center and does very little memorably at the plate.
  23. I love the mascot masks.
  24. Frayed Knot wrote: Yankees lose. THAAAAA Yankees LOSE!!!! Jays score a lone run via the runner-on-2nd rule in the 10th. Yanx fail to answer. I still super-hate the runner-on-2nd-to-start-the-10th rule. But I enjoyed it a bit today. The Jays won this game with basically one hit in extras.
